Background, experience and contribution
Benjamin Bandwart serves as Co-Chief Investment Officer for Archetype Energy. Mr. Bandwart is also the Co-Founder of Climate Commodities International. He formerly served as Portfolio Manager for Millennium Management and Castleton Commodities (formerly Louis Dreyfus Energy).
Mr. Banwart has led billions of dollars of investments in companies, assets and resources globally in addition to deep experience in physical and financial commodities trading and risk management. He began his career in the investment banking department of Citigroup focusing on mergers & acquisitions and restructuring within the global insurance and financial institutions industry during the Great Recession. Mr. Banwart is also a recipient of the President’s Environmental Youth Award by President George W. Bush.
