Archetype provides access to tax equity funding through the Climate Commodities Asset Management fund. We link C&I and municipal renewable opportunities to tax equity investors to enable rapid project deployment.

Access to tax equity investment
Archetype operates a tax equity fund comprised of tax equity investors. When suitable C&I or municipal customers present opportunities for investment, Archetype connects the two parties as the developer and operates the tax equity fund for the project.
Tax equity investors
Invest either the value of the tax credits for the project (30%) or up to 40% of the project's equity in return for all tax benefits. These include: the Solar Investment Tax Credit, MACRS accelerated depreciation, and other bonus depreciations. Investors can expect up to a 15% IRR.
System owners
Receive direct power generation and cost saving benefits from the renewable system and are not responsible for maintenance. As the developer, Archetype will be responsible for system maintenance and performance.
